Our presentation

I feel the presentation went really well and I felt elated when we had finished, I feel so honoured to be part of this group!!!!

We were able to come across professional but with the hint of fun that we had wanted!!! Ashley found the beginning music only a day before the presentation but when we all heard it we all knew it would add that final piece to making our presentation complete!!

We were all sad that Lara couldn't be with us to do the presentation but her contribution more than made up for it!!

I would love to be part of this team again as we all drew on each others strengths and continued to encourage each other. I feel by working this way we came out with a great presentation and great boards which we were so proud to have displayed in the Library!!

This is my created design bowls for the table ware. Following the ideas that were generated in our group meetings, we focused on the Butterfly as the centre of our designs.

Market Research

I have been looking into market research and finding out what sort of market we would look to promote our products.
As a team we all agreed that our brand, Kitsch, sits in the market of brands like Cath Kidston. Rather than compete against the likes of well established Cath Kidston we have decided to sell our products through Supermarket retailers.
We feel the likes of Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsburys and many more would be able to promote these products well and we would be able to sell our home wear for a reasonable price in line with the supermarket retailers.

From my research I was able to find an article that supports that retailers have cleaned up in recent years from the home wear market.

Aga Covers

Here are my selected designs as discussed in the group meeting. I followed the theme created by our group and designed a range of aga covers.
